ABOUT ALISA
Alisa tells stories. Mostly the ones her family wishes she wouldn’t.
Born in California, raised in Brooklyn, and now based in Rhode Island, Alisa is a stand-up comedian and storyteller who learned pretty early that if life is going to be ridiculous, you might as well get material out of it.
Her comedy is bold, personal, slightly inappropriate, and usually based on something that absolutely happened. She talks about motherhood, relationships, growing up in New York, dysfunctional families, corporate America, and the everyday bullshit nobody warns you about.
Nothing is really off limits. Not her childhood. Not her kids. Not her relationships. Definitely not herself.
Onstage, Alisa has the energy of your funniest friend three drinks into brunch telling you a story that starts with, “Okay, don’t judge me” and ends with the entire table screaming.
She doesn’t just tell you what happened. She takes you there—with the characters, the voices, the side commentary, and all the details that probably should’ve stayed private.
Now performing throughout Rhode Island, New England, and New York, Alisa is bringing those stories to more stages—and giving more people entirely too much information about her life.
She’s spent enough of her life collecting stories. Now everybody gets to hear them.
